TEENS MINISTRY IN DUANVALE On Sunday November 20th 2005, the Duanvale New Testament Church of God Teens Ministry celebrated their 2nd Anniversary with the theme: Doing what the Lord requires . The Teens Ministry started on Saturday September 8, 2003 with twenty three (23) members. The ministry has multiply over the years and presently there are over forty (40) members enrolled. The Teens Ministry caters for the spiritual, social and educational needs of the teens. Spiritual programmes involves Discipleship and Bible Study. The social problems includes Camps, Trips, sharing activities with other teens and educational programmes such as: career guidance, health issues, social graces, personal development etc. The objectives is: To give the teens and informed understanding of their purpose in life. To allow teens the nature of their relationship is greatly influenced by their socialization To help the teens to understand that we are made of Gods image and sexual urges are natural and should be managed according to Gods guidelines. To help the teens to understand that a Godly character is necessary for a fruitful and successful Christian. To minister the gospel to every unsaved teens.
